11. Your Google reviews

Last updated July 19, 2026

Reviews on your site are pulled live from Google, so they update themselves as new ones arrive. You cannot edit them here — reviews change at the source.

If your site shows customer reviews, they are pulled directly from your Google listing rather than typed in by hand. That means they stay current on their own.

11.1 How it works

New reviews appear on your website automatically, usually within a day or so of being left. Nobody needs to copy anything across, and the reviews on your site are always the real ones.

11.2 What you cannot do here

You cannot edit, reorder, or remove an individual review from your website, because it is not stored there — your site is displaying what Google holds. That is deliberate: reviews you could edit would not be worth showing.

11.3 Responding to reviews

Reply in your Google Business Profile, not on your website. Replies you write there will travel to your site along with the review. It is worth answering the good ones briefly and the critical ones carefully — future customers read the replies at least as closely as the reviews.

11.4 If a review is unfair or fake

It has to be dealt with at Google, through their reporting process, and their bar is high. Removing it from your website while leaving it on Google helps nobody, since that is where most people look. Talk to us if you want help thinking through a response — a measured public reply usually does more good than a removal request.

11.5 Getting more reviews

The only reliable method is asking, promptly, while the experience is fresh. If you would like a link that takes customers straight to the review form, ask us and we will get one for you.
