ABOUT ROGUE HOSTING
We’re stewards, not landlords.
Hosting companies rent you space and leave you to it. We took a different word for a reason: a steward keeps what’s entrusted to them — and answers for it.
WHY WE EXIST
One valley, kept well.
Rogue Hosting was started for the businesses we buy bread from, get our bikes fixed at, and wave to across Main Street. We watched them wrestle websites built far away, hosted farther, and supported by no one — and decided the valley deserved a steward of its own.
We serve one place on purpose. Southern Oregon is not our market; it’s our home. Every site we keep belongs to a neighbor, and every site we keep makes the valley’s constellation stronger.
We stand on strong foundations: our hosting and infrastructure run on Vultr — SOC 2 Type II certified — and we built RogueOS, our own platform powered by Rogue Intelligence, so your marketers, developers, and social media managers can work in one place. We provide the platform; trusted valley partners handle the hands-on work we refer.
WHAT WE HOLD TO
The steward’s code.
Keep it like it’s ours. Because it almost is.
Every site gets the care we’d give our own storefront — swept, stocked, and lights on.
Speak plainly. Always.
If we can’t explain what we did and why it matters in one page of plain English, we haven’t finished the job.
Guard the trust. It’s the whole business.
Security isn’t a service tier here. Every site we touch gets guarded like it holds our own name.
Lift the valley. Together.
A rising site should lift its neighbors. The Network turns every client into a member — and every member into a lift.
WHY THE NAMES
Old words for old promises.
Steward, Sentinel, Summit, Herald — we chose words with weight, because the promises are old ones: to keep, to guard, to raise up, to tell. The tools are modern. The obligations aren’t.
