3. Your forms and the messages they collect

When someone fills in a form on your website, two things happen: you get an email, and a copy is saved on the site. That second copy is your safety net.

3.1 Reading your enquiries

1. Sign in to your website.
2. Choose Forms from the left-hand menu.
3. Open the submissions or entries view for the form you want.
4. You will see every message received, newest first, with the date and everything the sender filled in.

This is worth knowing about even if you never use it. If an enquiry email is ever lost, deleted by accident, or filtered into spam, the message itself is still safely here.

3.2 Changing where enquiries are sent

Ask us. It is a small change, but sending notifications to the wrong address is the kind of mistake nobody notices until a week of enquiries has gone missing — so we would rather make it and check it.

3.3 Changing the questions a form asks

Also worth handing to us. Forms are connected to your notifications and to spam filtering, and editing fields can quietly break that wiring. Tell us what you want to ask and we will rebuild the form around it.

3.4 If enquiries stop arriving

Check the submissions list first. If messages are arriving there but not in your inbox, the form is working and the problem is with email delivery — tell us and we will fix it. If nothing is arriving in either place, tell us that too; it is a different problem with a different cause.

3.5 Spam

Your forms are filtered automatically and most junk never reaches you. If obvious spam starts getting through, let us know rather than tightening anything yourself — filters set too aggressively will silently discard real enquiries, which is far more expensive than a little junk.
