5. Your email settings at a glance

Last updated July 19, 2026

Incoming and outgoing servers are both mail.mailconfig.net. Use IMAP on port 993 and SMTP on port 465 or 587, both with SSL/TLS, and your full email address as the username.

If any mail app asks you for server settings, these are the ones to give it. You should not need to change anything else.

  • Server: mail.mailconfig.net
  • Port: 993
  • Security: SSL/TLS
  • Username: your full email address

5.2 Outgoing mail (SMTP)

  • Server: mail.mailconfig.net
  • Port: 465 — or 587 if your provider blocks 465
  • Security: SSL/TLS
  • Authentication: required — same address and password as incoming
  • Server: mail.mailconfig.net
  • Port: 995
  • Security: SSL/TLS

POP downloads your mail onto one device and removes it from the server, which means it will not appear on your other devices. Use IMAP unless you have a specific reason not to.

5.4 Webmail

mail.yourdomain.com — your own domain with mail. in front. No setup required.

5.5 The two most common mistakes

  1. Using only the name before the @ as the username. It must be the whole address.
  2. Choosing Gmail or Outlook as the account type. Choose “Other” — your mail is hosted with us, not with them.
